No. Our process is fully online, so you can sign and settle from anywhere in NSW by phone and email. You're always welcome to meet in person at our Sydney CBD office if you'd prefer.

For most residential purchases by private treaty there's a five-business-day cooling-off period after exchange, ending at 5pm on the fifth business day. There's no cooling-off period when you buy at auction. We'll explain exactly how it applies to your contract.

Yes — strongly. Once you sign (or buy at auction) the contract is binding. A review beforehand lets you understand the terms, negotiate changes and spot red flags. If you then buy through us, the review fee is credited into your conveyancing fee.

A section 66W certificate waives your cooling-off rights, so the contract becomes binding immediately on exchange. Vendors sometimes request one. We generally advise caution and will explain the full implications before you provide it.

Most matters settle within about four to six weeks, depending on the contract terms and your finance timeline. We'll keep you ahead of every key date along the way.

Yes. Off-the-plan and new-build contracts carry extra considerations — sunset clauses, variations and longer timeframes. We review these carefully and explain what they mean for you.
